    So Alexander, a pitcher who had not pitched for the past 2 years and then pitches for the A's earlier this season, giving up 12 hits, 3 HRs, 5 BBs in only 6 innings.

    I consider the tank years to be separate

    this has been one of the hardest seasons to watch that I can remember. As a kid, 1987 was rough because they underachieved after such a great season the year before. 1993 was tough because Drabek, Swindell, and Eric Anthony all sucked. Still, this season is like death by 1000 cuts.

    get rid of the offense staff after the season. which might end by the end of this weekend.

    relying on the pitching staff to pitch a shutout EVERY outing is not sustainable.

    you're at home. you're supposed to hit at home!

    send the space cowboys up here and demote these astros to sugarland.
