Indeed... but I meant the city refusing to build a stadium for the team, so they'd have to look elsewhere (but still nearby the city limits). That was never an option in Houston... it was either build it there, or they'd move to a whole nother city. If the Cowboys were in Houston, and we treated them like the Dallas politicians treated them, than they'd be movin to a far far away place... not a suburb.
faos.. not really because we've been using tourist taxes.. it doesn't cost many of us money.... If it was actually raising the sales tax.. not sure how houston would respond
it is a huge issue. dallas is no miami...not exactly a tourist destination..much like houston..so you have to tie in to other things. my bet is dallas gets a super bowl...but won't get thrown in the "rotation." just like jacksonville...just like detroit.
