    He has had a good, not great ( but easily better than current options) last 3 months after a terrible April.

    And as for him breaking down, he has always missed i jurybtime but there are no mother signs of that.

    At a whopping $20 million per.

    For a player going in the wrong direction. On a team guaranteed to be really terrible again for at least another year and probably both years.

    I could see them not exercising the team option. That would be so White Sox.
