6-8 over the next 2 weeks until a few guys return should keep the division within 1 game either way.

 

We aren't going to win tomorrow vs Gore, so if we are to avoid 7 straight losses at home then tonight is the night.

 

Gore could be traded before his start tomorrow.

I personally would be elated if we could sign him for that. Crane needs to get out of the way and let Dana Brown do his job.

Valdez leads the league in innings pitched per start. He's never injured. He's incredibly consistent.

This is one we CANNOT let get away. I think it's the death of our run if that happens. That's how important this signing is to the Astros.

 

1:10 start, less than 5% chance a deal is done before then.

Now maybe if a framework of a deal is pretty much in place, they would probably request that Gore not get pitched.

Rome wrote that article about the Astros coaching staff telling Cam Smith to stop arriving so early and working so hard. Cam called himself a perfectionist and they made him change his entire routine. Ever since then he's been all out of sorts at the plate.
