Even at 20, many still have the mindset of a child. I work in suicide prevention counseling, and I’ve found that girls between 14 and 20 can be the most challenging to work with. They often speak a mile a minute, bouncing between topics, and it’s clear they’re still learning how to navigate the world and regulate their emotions. I wonder how many have undiagnosed ADHD and Autism. I would bet a lot.
