    Does anyone have any personal bets on the election? Anything outlandish?

    I bet a co-worker $5 that Bush would win. Not that I necessarily want him to win, but because I think he will.


    On a side note, I'm supremely pissed that my wife is off work today, and I am not.

    No bets...but I would love to place a bet on Bush to win. Mostly because I am the worst gambler in the history of gambling, if I draw a natural 21 the dealer has one too. So if I were to bet on the POTUS, Kerry would be in the White House for the next 4 years.

    And I am editing this...just because its my first time to be able to edit something. :cool:

    I've got a bet with Batman that Bush will capture 57% of the pop vote. If he wins he gets 2 Rox tix if i win I get his signature.

    Oh yeah and I have another bet with someone that if Bush gets less than 55% I give Clutch $10 and if he gets more he gives him $10,000.

    This is a very important vote.

    Even if Kerry wins, he will have a hard time getting his policies through a republican congress...BUT...1-4 Supreme Court justices COULD be selected by the winner of this race.

    A balance of power might shift in the Supreme Court to a more liberal court. I'm not sure if the Bush campaign pushed this fact very much. They could have reached back out to their base with this fact.

    Someone told me that the betting line in England was -240 for bush to win the presidency several weeks ago and closed at -160.

    The odds on Vipsports.com (off shore gambling) is

    Bet 100 on BUSH wins 63
    Bet 100 on Kerry wins 120


    So i have 500 on Kerry to win 600 :)
