One of the best year for rookie DBs in ages. Just so many of them did their thing.

They're salty that their boy Slowik got canned. They ranked CJ Stroud 14th below Geno Smith

Funny how some posters treat PFF as gospel until they ranked CJ 14th.

Truth is that site is just a reference point in a bigger picture. Take their grades with a grain of salt. Although CJ was a middle of the pack QB last year.

He worked for PFF for 3 years between his time with Washington and San Francisco.

From Wikipedia: "Following his stint with the Redskins, Slowik spent 2014 through 2016 as an analyst with sports analytics company Pro Football Focus.[5] Slowik worked as a senior analyst at PFF, responsible for grading NFL players and reviewing the grading of other analysts."

I don't think anyone can argue that Lassiter showed great improvement between the start and end of his rookie season. So looking forward is fun seasoned with a little fear from the curse of many Houston prospects from all teams who disappoint for some reason, whether it be regression or injury or both.
