    @StupidMoniker this did make me go down a number theory rabbit hole last night.

    But this guy would’ve failed me if I suggested that I can use Ramanujan’s work to “prove” a diverging series as basic as 1+2+3+… is anything but approaches infinity.

    Ramanujan : "We don't need no stinkin proofs!"

    Have you read the book "The Man Who Knew Infinity"? I think there's a movie about him by the same name, too. It's crazy how many geniuses out there were taken from us before their time. Ramanujans definitely among the more incredible ones.
