ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 4/26/2025 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 3)

As the series stretches out, the weary have no rest. Game #3 is on Saturday (today), #4 is on Monday, and #5 is on Wednesday. Games 6 and 7 are for the weekend (Friday and Sunday).

Let's take both games in Golden State.

 

Does anyone else just spend the whole day waiting for game time. So excited to see us beat down on the warriors

I do think a longer series favors us. But I'd rather knock 'em out in 5

 

Butler will be an emotional lift only and may play a Quarter to a Half somewhat effectively. But the entire game? That ass will be on the bench sitting on a donut for much of it.

 

Will Cam play team basketball and make the right reads based on how he's defended or will he immediately iso and drive into a crowd when the ball swings to him.

They usually save the refs that "manage the game" for big pivotal games in a series like this.

 

i think silver puts up a massive fight, starting tonight. hoping it goes to 7 so we at least have a chance to advance at home

Have to go into this game expecting no calls from the refs. Gonna have to scrap and claw our way to a victory in a place that will be loud all game.

Refs are going to keep a tight whistle expect foul trouble early on

 

I fully expect Draymond to push Brooks to the ground and Brooks gets thrown out because they called it a flop.

 

We win one game in the series and people think we win in 5 or 6. I think that's a tall order.

1. Expect a war. I think Udoka has these guys conditioned to come through here.

2. I want to get Jabari 12-15 shots

3. Can Jalen have a solid game? We don’t need him to go supernova again. We just need steady.
