Yes, I was bitter And, yes the 'Stros lost again But they didn't choke You are somewhat right I'll admit I wrote them off At the midseason Yet they fought back hard And showed a whole lot of heart Didn't really choke I was wrong a bit For that, I will eat SOME crow but not a whole lot Because they still lost Another year of drowned hope Another heartbreak I'm still skeptical I still have "Bitter 'Stros face" I still say they'll lose If they win it all If they win the World Series then I will be wrong That's the only time I'll have to eat major crow And say that I'm wrong But then we all know In the bottom of our hearts It will never be -- droxford
