    It's actually not unusual.

    He won AL player of the week the 1st week of the 2022 season.

    In 2021, he had 2 hits in each of the first 4 games of the year before slumping down to a .745 OPS by mid-April.

    It is not unusual at all for Alex to have a very short 4-7 game hot streak the start of the year AND THEN suck for 6 weeks before turning it around.
