I've gone to the ncaa tournament 4 years in a row and that was my experience each time.

Prices spike right after announcement and stay high the entire week, only falling in the minutes leading up to tipoff.

However, since UH is the late game, you could absolutely wait until game 1 is done and then buy and get a substantial savings.

I met several UH fans (and even a Purdue one or two) who did just that on Friday night.

The defense that Houston played in the first half is pretty much as good as it gets. They absolutely suffocated the Vols. They took their foot off the gas in the second half, but Tennessee never really threatened. When they closed it to ten, Sharp went wild and essentially game over. I do admit that Duke looks unbeatable, but the Vols will probably tell that the Coogs look unbeatable as well. Houston can beat Duke and Duke can beat Houston. One of the two outcomes will happen. The question is who can keep their foot on the gas the longest.

 

After watching their last two games (my only Duke games) I felt the same - what a beast! But now it dawns on me Sampson has a week to design a defense. And that gives me confidence.

I think that about sums it up.

This team just played two elite teams in the most hostile environments possible (Friday it was wall-to-wall Boilermakers, Sunday it was not as crowded but there was absolutely 15K volunteer fans there) and the results were the most clutch finish I've seen in years and a biblical level asskicking via the most impressive defensive half of basketball I have ever seen.

Have you noticed how every round the lockerroom celebrations where the teams stick their names on the board? Gatorade and confetti everywhere? With the Coogs, they slap it on there and turn around and immediately start talking about the next game. They are all business. Surgical. Focused. Locked. In.

Duke is a world class team. Good. Iron sharpens iron. Bring that **** on. Yall fill up the Alamo dome and be loud as ****. If Duke wins, let them go to the game Monday deaf.

 

I never been to an Ozz festival but I bet it was badass. I did see Ozzy and I saw Black Sabbath with Dio.

Mylik Wilson our back up pg is a better rebounder than most big. Just a team of dawgs.

 

Wilson has some unreal hops its crazy some of the block shots he has had on guys half a foot taller than him and he does it with ease.

 

Tennessee was shook like Herro when he faced Amen again.
