    It's because UH was the much more physical team on defense. It was well worth it.

    There were also a couple of totally bogus calls in the last 5-10 mins. SMH!

    We got stopped after the game and interviewed by a local Indianapolis news station.

    They said they couldn't find any Houston fans and that's why they picked us... Because everyone was still inside celebrating after the game was over lol.

    We had to leave early to catch a flight, otherwise I might still be in there too.

    How do tix work for for the semis? I'm looking on stub hub but I can't tell if the Tix are for both semi games on 4/5 or if they sell the two games separately.

    Since Kelvin Sampson arrived, the Cougars have won 6 regular season conference championships, 3 conference tournament championships, and 2 NCAA regional championships. They have 7 consecutive NCAA tournament appearances, 6 consecutive Sweet Sixteen appearances, 3 Elite Eight appearances, and 2 Final Four Appearances.

    Would Sampson have been on Houston's radar (and vice versa) if he had not been hired as an assistant for the Rockets?

    The legend goes that some boosters walked Kelvin into Mack Rhoades' office and put a pen and paper in front of Mack.

    UH leadership was asleep at the wheel, and if not for a few Rockets connected alumni we would still be in the James Dickey era.
