Being a sports fan is so tough sometimes. Why am I so worked up about something this has very little impact on my life

 

being a Houston sports fan specifically. houston sports is cursed.

 

Inexperienced teams go into the break early and come out of it slow. Happens. But a sign we are not ready to make the jump.

 

Ime now understands. He won't trust them again. He will be super safe going forward. Babies gotta be babysitted unfortunately until they grow up.

 

Ime should blame himself for the loss.

 

Amen cost us this game again with that turnover. He still lacks basketball iq

I mean Astros won in recent memory. Too bad I don’t like baseball.

 

Green misses a 3. Even if Brooks makes both, we still lose. That's how terrible those 5-6secs were.

 

When there are 30 seconds left of the game, I lost faith in this team now.

 

But this happened against Portland, Clippers and Lakers, with shots over Jabari and Tate last season.
The switch everything line gets got a lot. Maybe every team is bad it in closing seconds when 82 games are totaled up.

Absolutely. There’s no way I would have predicted that this group would be sitting at the 3rd spot more than half way into the season.
In saying that, I’m super positive that Reed finally got some meaningful minutes and he played quite well.

 

He made them when it mattered. And we should stop this defensive substitution late in games. Absolutely never works. Just leave sengun in. Giving up wide open threes on a routine inbound is unheard of. 2 guys there guarding no one.... why do they care if we give up a layup.

 

You asked about JG and Alpi. They were both on the bench.

 

Amen is in his second year. Dumb pass, but I'm not going to be too hard on him.

Sheppard is a rookie, and that was a breakaway open three. It’s a decent shot to put the game away.

Green has played enough minutes to be in his fifth year. That was one of the dumbest shots I’ve seen a Rockets player put up in a long time.

Udoka was doing weird things at the end of the game with the twin towers when protecting the three was what mattered. He should have called that timeout at the very end (before the inbound) but probably wanted to save it up in case they couldn't inbound.
