Is Pierce hurt?

 

Chargers kick returner. He brought the ball out and got waylaid and appeared to hurt his knee.

 

It was amazing composure, but there wasn't a DB within 10 yards of the receiver.

 

For all the talk about how bad CJ was for the better part of that first half (much of it warranted), Justin Herbert has been even worse... He's laying another Playoff stinker so far. He's never beating the "Playoff choker" allegations if they lose this game.

Second half all we literally need to do is cover Ladd. He's their only threat. Double cover him

CJ finally went "f--k it" and decided to reveal the "Ohio St" and "rookie season" version of himself. Let's hope it's here to stay.

 

I also think they've gotten away with some holding calls.

 

To be fair, CJ tired to slant a couple times. It works with Collins. It doesn't work with Metchie because he is ass.

 

It's a puzzle to me he doesn't play even after playing so well last week. Not even on returns which has been a specialty of his?

 

Defense holding on long enough for the offense to wake up.

 

all i know is it works and bobby slowik has rarely used it with better receivers. slowik makes CJ worse IMO. its sabotage.

 

I expected to see him on kickoff returns too. I don't get it at all. I mean Mixon has 6 carries for 15 yards. I'd like to see some Pierce runs. It can't be worse.

No. He's been back to return kicks and he was in there on a pass play.

 

I'd like to see him run a couple plays second half. Maybe he can get something going.
