    If Jalen can actually be the "numero uno", I am pretty sure FVV won't be as terrible as he looks right now.

    One of the reason FVV has taken this amount of shots is that he definitely belives he is a better shooter than Jalen. He would rather brick it himself than give it to Jalen to brick it.

    And, since Jalen is an inefficient scorer, FVV may actually think this is his team. He feels he is entitled to control the ball all the time and shoot whenever he wants.

    JG would have gained confidence much earlier if Fred had stepped back and let him play his game. You can see it in the last couple of games—when JG has the freedom to do his thing, he thrives. Fred’s predictable style and questionable shot selection have often slowed us down and taken us out of games. We’re at our best when we push the pace and let our young talent shine.
