    Yeah I was telling people only 12 PPG for a supposed sniper was a red flag. Sheppard got lucky on those 50% and stopped shooting cuz it would tank his percentage and hype.

    Everybody just drank the kool aid unfortunately even the Rox FO. And even me tbh, after that first GLeague game I thought Sheppard would be amazing. Hell even Mark Price gave Sheppard his seal of approval.

    I think his main issue is the speed of NBA defense vs college. His mechanics are only for college level, it is too slow for the NBA. Its the same as March Madness he got focused down by good defenders and couldnt get his shot off properly. Sullivan or whoever should work with him to speed up his shot.

    Alperen has very unorthodox(?) decisions forcing refs to uncomfortable positions and generally they decide against him. I dont think that is weird. If he can claim superstar favor someday those calls will change.
