I will be very surprised if Houston signs a QO free agent other than Bregman. The more time passes the more I think Houston’s offseason hinges on Bregman; if he signs elsewhere they will try to replace his offense with a scattershot approach (3rd tier free agents and 3rd tier trades). I still think Carlos Santana and Michael Conforto make a lot of sense if they are limited to 1-2 years.

I miss the days in professional sports when they would say that two teams are playing in such and such stadium and you immediately knew which stadium it was.

 

This offseason has always been about Bregs. What he decides to do will lead to what Dana does. I could see bringing back Bregs and signing Santana/Conforto to 1-2 year deals. Not what I would do, but I could see Dana going this way. I wonder if they were to do this if they could also trade for Lowe?
