    This iteration of Alpi gives them almost no chance of coming back, even if he has been “less horrible” today. He has zero outside shot, basically makes the floor more crowded. Defense is pretty bad. He’s pretty much a scrub this season.

    Dallas and Memphis are not in midseason form.....to some degree have to fight thru injuries and new player arrivals.

    But I agree the Rockets do match up well with teams that play more traditionally and teams that have heliocentric systems.

    If Lamelo were on the Warriors or Thunder, the Rockets are getting blown out, simple as that.

    It's just smart basketball to bench the starters just to avoid some freak injury.

    It also teaches the starters a lesson to come out with more energy and purpose.

    I have NO idea why FVV continued to play. He was part of the reason we sucked because he acts like he doesn't know how to beat a double.

    and yet we have people blaming him for our issues and not the total zeros that make up the rest of the starters (except for FVV who is somehow less than zero right now).

    The "scrub" shot 3-6 in 9 minutes. Fred, Jalen, Jabari together shot 1-15 in a combined 44 minutes. How do you blame that on the guy who is getting benched?
