I got my season tix...very pumped about the season! I was wondering if you guys could suggest some decent places to eat near (preferrable within walking distance) the toyota center before and/or after games. I have been told that the food on the club level is decent but usually, it just means that the food is better than just regular dogs/peanuts etc. Any suggestions welcome.

Not too many places by the Toyota Center actually most of them are going to be in downtown which you can easily park and take the train to and from downtown and eat there then go back to the game.

I have not eaten there yet, but I heard right here that Josephines -North of Toyota center is very good. I have eaten at St. Pete's Marlin on Main and Mia Bella on main - both pretty good. Also the market square on travis has good grilled food.

I am still learning about downtown....

The difficulty here is finding places to eat that aren't so far from TC (St. Pete's Dancing Marlin and Mia Bella are on Main near Preston - a fairly long walk from TC).

Josephine's is closer and has decent food. Actually, there's a Ninfa's at the Park Shops - only about 3 or 4 blocks away. There are many other restaurants there, but almost all of 'em close at 4 or 5.

    Other restaurants in that area:
    Massa's Seafood Grill -- Restaurant - Seafood
Café Matsu -- Restaurant - Asian

these may be expensive, and might close at 5.

    I should clarify:

Ninfa's in the Park Shops definitely is open past 5, but most other restaurants there aren't.

You could also always eat in the TC restaurant. I've eaten there before. The food is good, but everything is overpriced. If I remember correctly, they offer a buffet that has a lot of everything (beef, sushi, pasta, salad, etc, etc, etc) of good food, but it is like $25 bucks or something. Also, they have their own version of the Chili's high and mighty ice cream pie that is ENORMOUS.
