    I cannot believe we had to throw in loperfido . He should have been the whole deal . I get that there might be a logjam for him when Tucker comes back , but he only had 118 mlb plate appearances and was 25 .

    As I’m saying it , I feel like he’s not a great prospect. He had a crazy start to the year in the minors , but our Abreu malaise made us yearn for him … and he did give us a boost this year .

    but maybe there’s really not space for him and he wasn’t a renowned prospect . Idk anything about Wagner .

    bloss I like , but he wasn’t a top guy either .

    I hope we get more from Seattle . But I doubt we rue the day we made the trade .

    it’s about this year .

    seems like a high price

    Normally there’s a way to justify a deal even if it looks bad on paper. But Kikuchi being a rental, I don’t see ANY way he pitches well enough to justify that package. Wow. Kikuchi could be 1998 Randy Johnson and I still wouldn’t make this deal.

    Whether Kikuchi contributes or not, praying Houston wins the World Series so I can move on from this trade.

    Can't wait to hear what Brown says about the trade. Can't believe Crane gave the thumbs up.
