Misses the bigger point. This is the prosecutor. Not the judge or a juror. The prosecutor isn't impartial. He has to convince an impartial jury. Joe Biden himself could be the prosecutor and it wouldn't do anything to the legitimacy of the case.

I agree with the jury part. I am curious if calling her as a witness was beneficial or detrimental. I don't get her relevance to the charges and maybe the prosecution will start making their case to the jury soon.
Calling any witnesses who are larger that life characters with unseemly backgrounds is always something the prosecution wishes to avoid. They prefer data and facts on paper that cannot be colored in shades of grey. However the prosecution did not choose Daniels or Cohen as witnesses.... Donald Trump did when he chose Cohen to carry out this scheme, and when he chose to sleep with, and pay off Daniels. If you didn't call Michael Cohen at the very least, the Jury would likely think the Prosecution is trying to cherry pick based on documentary evidence. If you think the prosecution didn't want to call Clifford, just wait till Cohen gets called.

What? Cohen is only corroborating the documented evidence. He isn't the basis of the case. The idea is that without calling him, it looks like the prosecution would be hiding something. Cohen will testify to the same thing already shown by the documented business records, text messages, and recordings. He isn't providing a basis for anything. It seems pretty solid. It was smart of the prosecution to relay on the testimony of Cohen as he would be easily discredited if there weren't receipts and things already entered into evidence. Cohen only strengthens the evidence already presented. It isn't as if he's bring in new information to the case.
