    Hey guys,

I'm just wondering what you people use to edit your site and/or your images...

I am currently using Dreamweaver and a friend of mine is going to get me Fireworks..supposedly they're very good programs.

I just have no idea about these things, since I used to edit my page with raw HTML and nothing else.

Clutch, what the heck is a .cfm file?

    Thanks...

Dreamweaver is really nice from what I have heard it uses some DHTML that is probably why I was having trouble understanding your sites Source code.
I personally use Frontpage 2000 and I also sometimes go in and tweak the HTML code.
.cfm is a cold fusion file I beleive

Well, I'm stuck on AOL, so I use their editors. I used to really like Personal Publisher 2. But they changed it, and it sucked. Now I use AOLPress, which is perfect to me.

Does anyone know how I can download any programs that are very close to either PPII or AOLpress? I want to be able to continue using something I'm familiar with when I eventually discontinue AOL.

After a couple of years of using notepad for all of my HTML coding, I finally settled in on Allaire's HomeSite. I've been using it now for about 3 years.

It's really the only one out there that I care for. It keeps your code clean. It doesn't pollute your files with unecceasary code.

Allaire is also the company that has ColdFusion. Their CF editor is basically HomeSite with all of the CF stuff added to it.

    Very cool program.

I use Frontpage 2000 at home and at work I use DreamWeaver and FireWorks... all are really good programs, I think they are easy to use. For graphics, FW is pretty good too.. I also use Corel PhotoPaint8 there are so many options out there, I wish you luck!

Try to read reviews or visit friends who use different programs...

    good luck
