Houston named No. 1 city in U.S. for violent road rage incidents https://www.chron.com/news/houston-...icle/houston-road-rage-incidents-19428481.php
Only 2nd in terrible air quality, H-Town Baby! https://www.khou.com/article/news/l...rank/285-50851a10-f32f-43a9-8267-c867368c0f95
We’re also like 16 in most dangerous city in America which is kinda disappointing. We should aim for #1 lolol
Funny, most people say that whatever city they live in has the worst drivers. Now we have proof that it really is ours. Over the past year, I've driven through Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Florida, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri on various Astros-related road trips. I can honestly say that Texas drivers are WAY worse than drivers from any of those other states. The only state that even comes close would be Louisiana, and that's only because there are so many people from Texas driving around.
We, Houstonians, have been raised in the art of offensive/defensive drivng...WITH MANNERS. Folks come from all over, and if they're not assiimilated into the Borg...Well, iit gets ugly. Toss in the fact that about a third are packing. And, it's a recipe for chaos. The refusal to implement a practical transit system comensurate with our sprawling metropolis has been a huge factor too.
If I were like some posters, I would come dunk on y'all and post lots of video clips of bad Houston driving, and tag all my Cali buddies... but I am not like some posters, and I'm just sad for y'all and hope it gets better (both the air and the traffic). I love my home town, always will.
AND Florida & Alabama - it's nice driving around. Not FUGLY like Houston. The scenery here alone is enough to make someone ANGRY.
