I guess DT is not an important position for this team.

Nick didnt draft anybody that had visits with them. Seems like smokescreens and bait/switches everywhere. Everybody drafted were just Zoom call meetings.

True. Time to take flyers on guys who might have one outstanding attribute that can be used, I guess.

A 6th or 7th draft pick will not be your Starter or 2nd team DT at the beginning of the season. They will pick one up after people are cut after Draft/OTAs/Minicamp.

Ran a 4.79 40 at 307 pounds. That's an eye opener. Not sure how many times that would be applicable for him, but does indicate some probable explosiveness over short distances.

Or they didn't like the player during visit. Didn't pass the vibe test.

Man, Texans have three picks in the round and it seems like it's taking forever for them to get on the clock.

Workout was impressive enough to sign him late on potential alone.

That must suck for guys who have played football since they were kids, them and their families sacrificing time and money for years, worked through middle school, high school, and college, made it to the cusp of having your dreams realized...

And you're still sitting on the couch waiting while some guy from England who's never played a competitive game of American football gets picked ahead of you.

300 lb 6'8" and runs under 5 second 40. And looks explosive. That's enough. If he had been playing for years, he'd already be high on the draft board or out of football.
