Wouldn't it be great if the league would end any series that fell below a certain ratings level? It could even be at halftime of game 1, and whoever's ahead advances to the next round.

Might actually be a way for the Rockets to win a 'chip if they can ever get into the postseason.

I’m annoyed at how good OKC became so quickly

Was not surprised, Presti was the Next Buford for years.......dude was even holding hour long master classes during Summer League.

    Big big fan of Daigneault.

Know good management when I encounter one.

Taking nothing away from SGA/J-Dub/Chet and Giddey's hot shooting tonight, but the unsung hero is Dort. His complete ownership of Ingram was almost disturbing. He was in his head the entire game and BI was totally lost out there. He took BI's manhood away. It think he must weigh more than the 220 lbs listed.

M'boy J-Dub handled this series very well. He's a part-time elite closer on his way to becoming a dominant closer alongside SGA.

    Very fun team to watch.

It's because Presti is a good GM, much better than Morey despite that one mistake with Harden. Even tho it was more about ownership not him.

lu dort figured out that if you continually reach/hand check throughout the game it'll never get called, much like golden state setting moving screens every possession when bogut was there.

It wasn't just that. He got away with a whole lot of bumping, partially because he was able to stay in front of Ingram. Probably felt like hitting a brick wall. He tried posting up a couple of times, Dort would barely budge and someone else ran around and easily stripped him.

Sometimes BI looked like he didn't even want the ball out there. He had opportunities on the elbow and just passed to someone else.

One more thing: I know OKC has good defensive stats and all that. They scheme well, switch well, etc, etc. But I have never seen a team deflect so many balls in my life. They are in a class by themselves in that regard. It doesn't matter if things are going well or not, they deflect a boatload passes every game which often turn into valuable live-ball turnovers.

presti has always been obsessed with wingspan, so i'm not really surprised with the deflections. they were tied for 2nd with 16.2 per game.
