Things That Annoy You

There are a lot of possibilities here:

• They're a Karen
• You're incompetent
• They're incompetent and covering their own asses
• Your boss asked that person to CC them every time they emailed you or a group of people
• They don't understand email etiquette
• They want to fight you

 

People who do a thing that they've done multiple times before and are completely baffled by it and somehow utterly unprepared:

• Store returns
• ATMs
• Self pay and pump gas
• Self checkout

 

It's definitely this one. She does it to everyone, not just me.

 

'We are experiencing a higher than normal call volume' on every phone tree since the pandemic. We all know that's bullshit.

 

I love the companies that give you the "press X to have us call you back at this number" option.

 

Yes! Things I love. But not after 10 minutes of sitting on the phone before I get that message.

 

That one really annoys me, especially when the person getting out of the car looks like they they just came from the gym. Some people just don't give a damn about anyone else. If you can walk, save that space for people in wheelchairs, or the ones with severe health problems, who are too weak or fragile to walk far. The others need to just walk their lazy ass the extra yards from another spot. That goes double for the ones who look like they need to walk off about 50 pounds to begin with and aren't even close to 60 yet.

 

People who ask for advice for something online and end it with "aaaand GO". I'm not sitting around waiting for you to ask me a question. I'm not quivering at the thought of being able to help you. It's not a f***ing competition.

 

the hold music being interrupted to tell me "please continue to hold" NO ****..

 

The evil part of me thinks about going back to the truck, getting a heavy something, and smacking them upside the knee with it. "Well, you're handicapped now, amigo"

 

Parking in a handicap spot is a towable offense. You could just to tell the business they owns the lot to call their tow opperator

 

You can actually take a course with the city and get the power to ticket people who abuse handicap spots.

You can actually even take the class online.

I have no direct experience, but every time I see some a-hole without a tag in a handicap spot, I wish I did.

 

Turnabout is fair play. Cc her boss on everything. If her boss complains about it, just say that it seems like she wants to keep everyone in the loop so you’re just making sure that her boss is aware of everything too. Eventually her boss will tell her to knock off the CCing
