Top-5 favorite Zep song...and she has Plant's hair. Strong. eta: who bought her that guitar, it's beautiful and there's no way a kid could afford it (70'ish Gibson?)
She is 17 maybe going on 18 and some on the Internet are projecting her to be a star one day. She was already getting recognition when she was 16 and it doesn't seem to have lessened. I don't know if her parents paid for the guitar or somebody in the music industry gave it to her as a gift. Will she actually achieve stardom? I don't know. Her voice sounded fine in an interview, but I am still looking to find her singing in addition to playing guitar. I have it as a more difficult path for her to be famous if she is only a musician. I don't remember her using Youtube as the initial way to get her name out there. Some others that have used Youtube to get their name out there have had varying degrees of success once they shifted towards live performances. __________ Maybe Larissa has had a bit of success beyond Youtube. Larissa __________ I think that Sophie is/was in MGK Band, so she has had some success beyond Youtube. Sophie Yes, Larissa and Sophie have probably depended on the Eye Candy part to help build their followings on Youtube. Perhaps not as Blessed as Sydney Sweeney, but they were Blessed. How much of their success is for musical talent and how much for being Eye Candy is open for debate. __________ The Warning is a band of three sisters that started on Youtube when they were young and they have achieved fame. Since I recently posted a video of them, will skip posting another so soon. __________ It is tricky to go from having success doing mostly Covers to having success doing mostly your own songs. Mike Pinder, co-founder and keyboard player for the Moody Blues, passed away. Made me think of this, my favorite of theirs ("In Your Wildest Dreams" was a great, late-career, 80's song too):
