My biggest problem with the old is that it was always an attempt to be Texas' team. Trying to wrestle it from the Cowboys. Just real generic name and colors. I for one am glad they're at least trying to be Houston's team first here.

Boom. That was the entire point of this rebrand. I appreciate the effort and I love that "H" on a fitted hat

Yes, I do. The previous H was a bit too plain.

Big ol meh. The alternate Looks like an XFL kit or something. If you’re going to name a color htown blue and hype the sh!+ out of it then you need to make it a primary color, not half an accent on a helmet.

I’m sure those dickwads in Nashville through a fit about any possibility of that and f@&( them if they did but the Texans should’ve been able to come up w something better than this. If you were gonna make htown blue a small accent color than just go in a completely different direction. Or at the very least use it on a white uniform / helmet combo so that the color actual stands out instead of drowning in a sea of navy blue.

Talk about a real Jose Abreu sized swing n miss on a 91mph meatball.

It would look even better, to me at least, if it was just the htown blue outlines and the red star and no internal color other than the helmet's color.

Nope, gotta flip/mirror the logo so the eye faces forward ... that's still my biggest pet peeve with the asymmetrical logo. Getting off my soapbox now.

Damn, the H on the shoulder instead of the helmet makes a huge difference and looks so much better imo. How did they not think of this?!

Based on the leaks, they’re predicting this is what the Battle Red helmet will look like.

Would be the best by far IMO.

I believe they have to stick with certain combinations, but it’d be cool if they could try that helmet with the already leaked road uniforms. I think it’d show them how popular that usage of the logo is amongst the fans (red + horns)

I think it would look better with a white star near the top of the horn like the star on our last red helmet.
