The two-party system is essentially dead and it has been replaced by the uni-party of Democrats and many Republicans who work together to steal as much wealth as possible from poor and middle-class Americans.

    Congratulations.

At times you have to reach across the aisle to get things done. You can't just poop on everything to get attention.

But, you don't even know how to pay a gambling debt so I wouldn't expect you to understand that.

You think a two-party system is all about "winning". You are wrong. A two-party system is about compromise.

There is no "compromise" between the elites and poor and middle-class Americans. The former always wins and the latter always gets shafted.

A bit out of context because i don't know what Rep Tom Cole stands for or has voted in the past (i can guess what an OK rep votes...) but interesting interview.

I do think most of the current existential political crises in America are mostly made up and amplified by all media looking for viewers. As sources of truth bifurcates into different channels, the surety of our opinions increases and become self-segregating.

Talk to people, real people and learn how to handle a disagreement without insulting, playing petty tricks or appeal to an authority you've never deeply questioned yourself.

Maybe that's one step to reduce the foam coming out of everyone's mouths when it comes to politics and becoming beholden to partisan crazies promising to "shake things up" while doing nothing else.

I know this isn't easy as it takes a two way street, but not trying is the worse outcome.

Save America, the political action committee that has underwritten much of Trump’s legal expenses, spent nearly $3.7 million on legal-related expenses in March – nearly $3 out of every $4 it collected, according to a filing Saturday night with the Federal Election Commission.

It would be difficult to find someone dumber than Trump to run, but she'd be one of the six people in the country who would qualify.

GOP Rep. Gonzales: Some of My Republican Colleagues Are ‘Real Scumbags’

“I served 20 years in the military. It’s my absolute honor to be in Congress, but I serve with some real scumbags. Matt Gaetz, he paid minors to have sex with him at drug parties. Bob Good endorsed my opponent, a known neo-Nazi. These people used to walk around with white hoods at night. Now they’re walking around with white hoods in the daytime...”

When the Rs engage in Cancel Culture, it is for the right reasons and thus completely understandable ...

Interesting insight into the SCW mind ... They find Trump lacking moral character. They find that a felony conviction makes Trump unfit for office. They are not wild about Trump becoming a Day One Dictator. ... But they are voting for Trump, since the country can not survive another four years of the Biden and the Ds being in charge.

I guess some SCWs have never voted for a D and they are not about to start.

The "country can not survive another four years" rhetoric is a bit much.
