I like that he seems to have that FVV toughness with better shooting and an extra 3 - 5 inches in height. FVV is really 5-10 or something I've heard. Plus, Fred would be the perfect player to mentor his game.
He and Knecht are the main two I am interested with the 9th pick, but I gotta say, Sheppard is the guy i'd choose if I had to pick between the two. Would love to have 2 high picks and get one of those bigs.
Rockets have no chance at him at the 9th pick. Dalton Knecht is more likely and probably will be a better player in year 1. That being said I'd love Reed Sheppard as a Jalen Green insurance policy and have them split time next year. FVV/Sheppard/Cam/Jabari rotating around SenHub? Yes please.

There is a chance he is there at 9, if he is run to the podium and get that kid. He is perfect fit for the roster. I feel like we are finally going to get lucky with a lottery ball. The gods are ready to use Houston to punish the rest of the NBA.
I think he's a top 5 lock. Wouldn't be surprised to see him go top 3. But I do really want him. I would trade up quite a bit to get him. We badly need shooting, and you can never have too many good defenders.
