Another disgusting aspect of this article I realized is the conflation of communists to Nazis in Germany. First, there is a reason why the KPD in Weimar Germany had a overwhelmingly disproportionate percentage of their membership being Jewish Germans. The concept that some fringe communist "switched sides" is like pointing at Dave Rubin and saying that the modern right is leftist because some people fell for the "#walkaway" movement. Another talking point that modern right wing people have is the claim that the KPD like the Nazis hated the neo-liberal DDP party therefore try were the same. This is equivalent of someone today saying the right wing and the left are the same because they don't like Hillary Clinton or Joe Biden. Now for the reason why the KPD(communist party) had an overwhelmingly disproportionate amount of Jewish members is simply the fact that the centrist liberal party in Weimar Germany was like 2 steps removed from being as anti-semitic as the Nazi party. Anti-semtisim was ubiquitous to the point that safe spaces were fringe leftist/anarchist/communist movements in Germany. The establishment was like 80% as anti-semitic as the Nazi party. The left AND right have a history of hating Jews at different points in time. There is no market on antisemitism. The Soviets, especially under Stalin killed Jews. Karl Marx blamed Capitalism on the Jews. The Nazi Party hates Jews, as did the majority of conservative Germans in that time period, and many far leftists did as well. Authoritarians - which exist regardless of political parties will blame others for the failings of their nation - as it is a scape goat. Religious fundamentalists are almost always far right - and they have tended to have severe issues with Jews.

Everyone hates Jews - some Christianity states the Jewish people will forever suffer for denying Christ throughout history past and present and it's kinda hard to argue with that - but at the same time the prophecy is that Israel will never fall - which is also concurrent despite the 1973 war with multiple Islamic nations and 50 years later today - Israel still stands as it should. I view the "far-right" as, say, a "sovereign" citizen that doesn't want nor recognize any government authority whatsoever. The right supports government, but limited government and limited rights authority. The "far" right doesn't want any form of government. The left supports government management of everything under the sun, high taxes, and many restrictions on the ability of people to engage on commerce. The "far" left takes it to extremes through Marxism wherein private ownership of business is forbidden. Fascism is also "far" left except that it permits private ownership but the state directs (when it desires) its activities. They are both far-left ideologies.
