Offense looks good. His +/- numbers are still weirdly not that great, e.g. compared to Franz Wagner.

He takes the tougher shots, sometimes dumb and loses a lot of dribbles, easily stripped .... but he is a well built tank that can bully you like Giannis and Mini Shaq.

Reminds me of what Zion should have been......ironically Bball IQ growing.

This is what a modern big man with a shot diet that extends past 10 feet looks like.

So far the top 3 of the 22 draft are playing oddly in line with my expectations in terms of strengths and weaknesses.

Banchero is a really polished and excellent offensive player, but doesn't look franchise carry good and his 3 ball has been inconsistent.

Holmgren is easily the most valuable player of the 3...and he's also already missed a full season due to injury.

Jabari's offense is lagging behind the others, but he's showing himself to be a very valuable 3 and d frontcourt player.

Paolo's improvement in 3pt shooting takes him to another level. Everything else is aligned with expectations.

He does not have the quickness but I think there are ways to counter that as well.

This is what Jabari needs to be doing. Scoring off the dribble. You can't be a franchise player waiting for set shots.

Franz Wagner elimination game 1-15. CF told me he was the star of the team.

Meanwhile, Paolo dropped 38 points and 16 rebounds.

if firestone didn't go on a lunch date with ranchero, magic gm wouldn't have gotten jelly and drafted him at 1.

LOL, when did they tell you that? In 2022/23, they were near equal. All this season, Paolo has clearly been better. Wagner must become a dangerous 3-point shooter to be a star. If Paolo does that, he might become a top-5 player.
