Dalton Knecht is the obvious choice if he's there at 9. He's 23 but he's ready to play immediately.

I actually think their odds are a little better. According to Tankathon, their odds of landing in the top 4 are a little over 7%. Not great, but totally in the realm of possibility. Would love to keep OKC from getting that pick somehow!

    2024 offseason:

package Jalen for Dejuante Murray. If we can’t get Murray we sign DeAnthony Melton with the MLE. If we cant sign Melton, pull a trade for Brogdon.

We need a 2-way combo guard that can shoot.

    1) Extend Sengun
    2) Trade Jalen
    3) Draft Sheppard/Clingan
    4) Get a real, consistent SG
    5) Get Tari healthy
    6) Start Amen
    7) Stick Jabari in a gym with no doors out surrounded by whey protein and milk

Wouldn't it have to be #3 and #10 if the Rockets leaprfrog Brooklyn, thus knocking Brooklyn down a spot?

Lol Brooks is a higher tier than Jabari and Jalen?

    Alpi, Amen
    Tari, Jabari, FVV
    Jalen, Cam
    Adams, Brooks

Jabari put up 13/8 on 37% from 3 as a 21 yr old. He is on track to be one of the elite PFs in the league imo.

Stones shouldn't make a trade anyway he should just run this team back. See this team with 1 full year of Udoka before you make any drastic changes.

Not a bad option. Draft Bronny with the Warriors’ 2nd round pick, and get daddy James for the vet min.

That is a better plan at least than Pray for Victor.

I doubt Udoka will be happy with that decision. We need shooters

Wait, we just had a full year of Udoka. We didn't have him for a partial season last year. But I think your point might have been another full year, and I agree.

We could probably run it back and improve significantly if we just have a healthier season (especially for Tari) and have even a little bit of internal improvement.

That said, I agree with everyone else it would be nice to add some shooting. I would explore the possibility of trading away Dillon Brooks to a contender as well. We have too many guys who need minutes at the 3 if Tari is healthy.
