Both billionaires...though they took decidedly different paths to get there

Merkel Cell cancer. Very rare. I've only seen maybe 5-10 cases in about 11 years. I wish we understood more about it.

    I hate cancer.

    Too soon. RIP.

His music never clicked for me, but it clearly did for many others. About 8 years ago, when I was.... 8 years younger, I was legit surprised to hear that so many of my similarly aged coworkers were such big fans and were going to his concert that weekend. It wasn't until then that I realized how influential he was.

RIP to a legend. He won't be forgotten.

A profound loss, that has hit me hard, went to several of his shows with my wife, love his music, so upbeat and positive, just a great vibe.

    He will be missed.

Even though JB only had one huge Top 40 hit, 17 of his 30 albums were certified gold. This is through the strength of his live performances ... kinda like the Grateful Dead. If you ever went to one of his shows, the audience sings along with most of his songs, even the deeper cuts.

Paul and Jimmy co-wrote a song which was going to be on JB's next album ...

I always loved the Club Dread parody of Jimmy Buffett done by Bill Paxton. RIP to both.
