Even at the beginning of the season, making the playoffs were a distant possibility. There are too many young guys wearing the badge of “sky is the limit” potential, but lacked the consistency that an NBA marathon season and playoffs require. getting 40 wins is a big positive, and potentially finishing the season 41-41 is quite a successful season.
Thunder went 40-42 last season under a coach entering his THIRD season and most on this board were thirsty for them. FVV was our most valuable player. When he went out, things got dicey. Need him around 30 minutes a night next year to preserve his greatness. Also need him to never attempt a layup unless defender is trailing 5ft behind.
