I agree he's not. That's just a fraction of what he needs to do in order to be a successful MLB player.

Not to mention- who does he replace and how often does he play?

No one wanted Click here because he refused to improve the team. Back then, the complaints were that Click was letting everyone go and the offense was sucking and all he did was spend money on bullpen players. People complain that Dana didn't go out and get anyone and then want Click, who basically didn't believe in free agency at all outside of middle relief?

Because he doesn't play well with others and doesn't listen to instructions from his boss.

I may have missed this. Where is Alex? I know he’s not helpful at the plate right now. But two days in a row? Is he sick?

I’m sorry, I can’t believe Abreu and Singleton are starting. That’s a fireable offense

The only way they could've gambled is if Framber's health was in doubt. Nobody anticipated Henley would be starting a game after 2 starts, and nobody anticipated Brown pitching like he's trying to lose. Blanco has been a nice surprise, but France is pitching like a borderline jackass too.

The offense is defying logic considering its OPS (2nd in AL) vs the runs scored (5th, but closer to 10th than 4th, plus we've played the most games). Nobody anticipated Abreu's OPS being lower than most players' freakin batting average. His OPS is literally HALF Maldonado's. Think about how bad that is. Opponents are also getting more bloops and squibblers than us, just like the ALCS last year.

There's just a plethora weird things happening right now, plus the strength of schedule is top notch. Law of averages says things will turn around in the near future.

IMO, Singleton has been getting some more ABs to see what he can do. If he doesn't show any improvement, Joey will be up by next week.

His OPS has increased 300 points since getting regular ABs.

Bregman has a .303/.406/.536 slash line with RISP for his career. He’s not suited to drive in runners because of two bad weeks to start the season…when he always sucks?

You then mention Tucker in the 2 hole so kind of confused what you’re even trying to argue because that would leave Bregman right where’s he at, which according to you he’s best at just getting on base. So it sounded like you’re making an argument Bregman should be batting 2nd but he’s slower than Yordan on the base paths so once again contradicting yourself.

Anyhow, Yordan’s on pace for about 130 RBI right now. He’s going to get on average 20 more plate appearances batting 2nd vs 3rd and 35 more compared to batting 4th. Yordan also has a higher OBP than Bregman and Tucker. Bregman will start hitting and all will be fine.

Not digging today's line-up. I would go with:
    Altuve/Dubon/Alvarez/Tucker/Diaz/Singleton/Pena/Abreu/Meyers

"We're expecting big things from Singleton at DH!", said nobody nowhere ever.

#2 has been the most concerning to me. I’d like to see Dubon against lefties more as well but Meyers and Chas are way better in their careers against them as well. Unless they just don’t think Dubon is good at first, I would like to see him there against lefties.
