So, where's everyone at with Jalen going into next year?

I want to see him with senguin healthy and some more shooters. I also want to see how aggressive he is.
Love greens potential (along with amen, cam and bari) but I think only sure fire player we have is senguin

 

Very reasonable. Sengun showed an ability for high impact and efficiency now for 2 seasons.

 

I think this season Green made a leap in terms of his floor as in he's no longer the "if he can't score he's useless" archetype.

No longer is his floor "inconsistent electric 6th man scorer". His floor now is a decent NBA starting guard. From now on it's more about where his ceiling is star or superstar

 

It’s funny you mention that because I almost pointed out that specific post. Green is actually a good defender at this point IMO. But I hedge a bit in saying average because that shouldn’t be debatable. He has eliminated a lot of the mental mistakes that he would previously make as well as he is really doing a nice job, utilizing his quickness to fight and navigate screens and get his hands on the ball for deflections steals and blocks.

 

This Jazz game...the variance in his output is extreme.

Consistently inconsistent. No wonder why so many fans are frustrated. Again, it does not conflict with people admitting his improvements this season. Somebody just couldn't get it.

 

Green is a mystery. He goes on an incredible streak and then goes "ordinary." I have no idea who he is.

 

We know who he is, you are just hoping he isn't that. Hes bad for 80% of the season. If it was a 50/50 split I would have a lot more hope for him. But besides one or two hot steaks a year he's utter trash.

 

Ordinary isn't how I'd describe how Jalen has played most of the year.

 

Had his hot stretch now back to the same ol same ol. Inefficient but some points due to high volume.

People can build whatever narrative they want around the awesome March stretch against bad team, but as usual he couldn't maintain it.

He is what he is,mostly bad with random awesome.

 

I feel for it two weeks ago. He fooled me again. Can't get fooled again...right?

 

Haven’t been able to watch so far, did Jalen get hurt?

 

JG will watch film in the off-season, spend time in the lab working on his dream shake, grow 3 inches and come back a beast.
