It should be clear. The injuries are an excuse. The players are not playing hard for Espada. Just look at the Abreu play from last night.

You know it's very easy for both Dusty and Espada to be shitty managers. Dusty cost this team in the ALCS last year with his refussal to see the obvious. I mean it could the greatest post-season run in recent playoff history to get Dusty over the hump, and even still the Astros squeaked by the Phillies, the series was decided by 4 total runs and the Astros threw a no-hitter in one those games.

Brown and callups have made almost 40% of the team's starts.

The bullpen has been forced to pitch 3 full games.

Astros probably have the toughest opening schedule of any team.

Last year, they were below .500 until late-April while playing the crappy AL Central.

Yeah, flat AF while being Top 2 OPS in the AL.

Astros will weather the storm and win 95+ games with Espada at the helm.

Fortunately, Espada isn't as foolish as Dusty to start Abreu in 90% of games.

Yeah you’re officially a dunce. Dusty starting Abreu so much actually helped him perform in the playoffs. Are you seriously talking about OPS? Lmao

Thank you for your bi-annual contribution to this forum.

Yeah, playing an injured player 95% of games is genius. His best play was after rest and medical attention. Dusty was too busy having gut feelings to notice.

OPS is one of the most important stats. I'll talk about it... especially when there's a stupid sentiment of, "the team isn't playing hard" and "the team is flat AF".

The way the Astros aren't getting 1st-to-3rd or 2nd-to-home has been amazing.

    The tide will turn.

There is no leader in that clubhouse. That matters.

You aren’t seeing this either out of Espada. Just a dog willing to lay down.
