Not getting Snell was a mistake. Hunter shouldn't be in the majors, Spaghetti wasn't ready, etc. This team is going to be so buried by the time the injured pitchers get healthy it will take a 2005 comeback to be relevant. Tough season it appears.

 

Brown doesn't have starter stuff. He needs to be moved to the bullpen where we need help.

Even if the pitching was better, with the lack of offense, would we still be winless against them?

 

The worst thing about a contender having a season go south on them is that the same players causing the losses are the ones who have no trade value. Abreu, Bregman, Tucker, Dubon, Valdez, Verlander, and Pressly have all seen their trade value dip in the early going of this season. So if this continues and Houston ends up positioned as deadline sellers, they may not even be able to improve their long term outlook in any meaningful way.
