Pujols came back to life that last season somehow. One of the most remarkable seasons honestly. Dude was completely washed for like 5 seasons and then posts a .895 OPS with 24 bombs.
Was the dude that’s always posting to do things for Christ here tonight? Maybe that was the difference
Pitchers are just giving Abreu a healthy diet of fastballs cause he can't catch up to them. Even the guys without great mlb fastballs know that's all they need to throw him
You can add Singleton and Kessinger to that list It's not a good roster...it has some absolute studs, but it's not a good roster build at all
Anyone have a screenshot or link to when abreu was pinch hit for? Was he really teary eyed in the dugout?
Wasn’t there a story that they told him he wouldn’t be tested for the rest of the season? Also I’m curious as to how many more precipitous declines we would have all seen in the past 30 years if PED’s weren’t around.
It's true. I'm in Greece now, lol! The Astros CLEARLY didn't **** fools up for Christ last night. Ugh! @Radricky
There’s better **** about Astros to argue with you beside asking our closer to go 2 inns in a tie game, 12th game into the season. I would even ask him (or any closer) to do that until September when season is on the line. This is April baseball brother!!!
That was a roller coaster ride, after we were up by 3 I thought, OK, here we go, lets get on a tear and get back to .500 and then they score and we lose again. I will beat a dead horse but man, Abreau needs to sit down for a week and Singleton just needs to go....didnt Loperfido play 1st during JV`s game on Sunday? Royals are a good young team but come on man, the Stros just seem to be missing a spark..................I need the pep in the step and some emotion. It`s still early I know but dam, lets kick this into gear and take the next 2
Wow, I had no idea we even played. I swore I had heard we had a day off. Just caught up - DAMN UGH - ruined the eclipse power
Nope... probably just being a diva... https://www.si.com/mlb/padres/joe-musgrove-appears-to-shade-former-padres-closer-josh-hader “Having a closer that you can go out there and rely on for more than just three outs is huge to us here,” Musgrove said. “He’s always willing to take the ball, and we’re grateful for it.”
