Yes. We would still have Abreu at 3 and Moldy around.

The Astros are 5-for-18 with runners in scoring position tonight and have stranded 13 runners.

I still have the firing projected after an 8-19 start.

I do believe we are getting swept by the resurgent Royals.

    Hits
    Astros - 14
    Royals - 7

    Stros still take the L.

Without homeruns, the Astros base advancement moves like molasses. Abreu is killing us. Bregman is not a cleanup hitter (plus it's April).

The Big 3 is gaining form, and Montero might make it a quartet.

Seems like the list is growing:
    Abreu
    Singleton
    Meyers
    Bregman

Espada lets Salvador Perez win it with base open in extra-inning!?!?!?!? Why not walk him and face Melendez?!?!?!?!?

We have a lot of studs on this team

But it's a horribly built roster

I have no idea how much of a final say Dana Brown has on personnel. You would think he has full say, but i'm sure it's less than that

But whoever has the final say, it's just a terribly built out roster

We don't have guys on the bench who give you a good at bat. And spare me the Singleton crap. Yes, he is patient and will take a walk, but other than that he mainly just strikes out. We have no 1B. We have no major league quality backup corner infielder. While I have no doubt Abreu/Press/Hader will be dominant overall, the rest of the pen is just ?? after ??

For what we spend, it's just not good

Luhnow was great at filling out the roster and so was Click

Brown/Crane whatever the power balance is...not so much

    Bad, bad loss.
They have holes in the lineup and the roster. They need to do something about them.
They can't dick around and lose games like this. They don't have less margin for error with this division anymore.

Repeat after me. Two inning outings are not unusual.
