Go to many games but it seems like things are getting better I do not. Literally empty in the lower bowl once upon a time it was. Embarrassed during the nationally televised games I was.

Maybe some people don’t like the constant flashing lights and nonstop noise machine cranked to 11.

The upper deck during the Harden years was usually filled up. It seems that in Houston, the venn diagram of people who are willing to spend the money for lower bowl seats and people who like basketball is very small.

That or it could be questionable ticketing sales, mostly to corprate buyers who don't fill seats.

Astros attendance traditionally picks up when school is out. If you want to go the best time to go is weekday games before then because after Memorial Day tickets will be hard to find for decent prices.

MLB and NBA in Houston has always been if the team isn't winning people aren't going to the games. The Rockets have been so bad the past few years that why would anyone want to pay what NBA tickets cost for a team that is hard to watch in a league that the games are hard to watch.

Also, the OP obviously didn’t attend Astros games during the rebuilding years.

The Summit was a great atmosphere. Toyota Center is very mild. Even when the rockets were good.

    it’s a basketball culture problem…Houston isn’t a basketball city

Rockets can have a contender, and the atmosphere in the building will still be bottom tier with plenty of empty seats even if it’s technically “sold out”

Worst game experience I've ever had - every single time.

Been to a few other NBA arenas among a host of other sports and they're all much, much better than the Rockets.

Not to mention, getting looked at weird just because you're vocally cheering for the Rockets and opposing the other team. Even some of the ones that actually do turn up bring down the already subpar atmosphere.

James Harden's greatest sin is making a Steph Curry jersey acceptable attire in Houston.

Caught the Orlando game tonight, we were ranked 28th in attendance last year and 18th this year. If they keep improving and start making the playoffs/winning more encourage others to get packages. Support what we're building and a winner.

Houstonians don’t give two sh*ts about the Rockets and never really have. Even in the championship years, all the other kids in school were still bigger fans of Jordan and the Bulls.

What bothers me the most is the lower bowl half empty every game

Give the seats to someone from the upper section
