Wemby as a rookie is already better than anyone on our team and has 10x the potential moving forward as well we’d have been set for the next decade if we had gotten the #1 overall pick
It's the REALLY tall ones that don't last long and a few of them were Rockets. KD is 7', There have been tons of 7 footers who had long careers. When they get 7'4" and taller is where history says they will not last long. I am not wishing anything bad for him rather just pointing out history has not been kind to guys that tall.
Put ime and fvv on the spurs instead of the rockets and spurs have a better record this season, and sengun has had TWO more years in the league
Pretty hard to say if all he is going up against are 38 year old Lebron, 35 yr old Curry, 36 yr old Durant and Tatum and Brown who are not generational...... The competition isn't there for me to pass up Bird or Magic or Tim Duncan for that matter.
I think a big part of it is cause those dudes are mostly so stiff and uncoordinated. They all walk like big oafs and can barely move around. Wemby, like Kareem, can walk and move like a normal sized human. His joints seem more flexible than your average giant. That'll help avoid injury.
I like Amen but not getting Wemby literally changed the entire course of this franchise. Sucks but it is what it is.
Brandon Miller would have been a nice consolation prize in the Shooting Department though......I think he will become better than Jabari Ferrari. No business getting both of them in the end.
KD confirmed himself that he is only 6'10 and came into the league 6'9.....officially now....he probably looks like he is 6*11. The media would love to write that he is a 7 footer every day twice on Sundays.

I’m not gonna pretend like Wemby isn’t better than anyone on our team and doesn’t have legendary potential that blows away anyone who’s currently on our roster
Also one thing to consider is that he stated he doesn't like the fame and things that come with the NBA and that he plans to go back to Sombor or Europe, so do not be surprised if he doesn't play, as long as Tim Duncan, Lebron or Vince Carter.... and Ring chase when he is old. That has an impact on how many rings he wins.
