As frustrating a start of the season as this can be… we really need to be mindful that theres also a lot of really positive signs that they’ll be just fine. Pitching - JV bullpen sessions going great and rehab starts means he’ll be likely pitching by the end of this month. Framber “figuring out” command in just one start… or having Caratini catch him mentally resets things. Javier continues to put up zeros Hitting - I don’t care what order they eventually settle on, but Altuve/Yordan/Tucker/Bregman/Diaz all following each other, all playing basically every game, and having a consistent lineup is a “good” thing… or at least anti whatever last year’s daily variable lineup either did or didn’t do for getting guys into a groove. And all they need from the rest of the lineup (Abreu, Chas, Pena, CF) is not to have a Maldy-level black hole. Bullpen - It’s been a tough stretch… close game after close game will tax any bullpen. Just need them to stay healthy.
