the not hitting at home is also not new and not limited to the first 3 games of this season so I don’t see how that is getting downplayed because SMALL SAMPLE SIZE
It is 3 games…. the response to a three game series in March is absurd. The Astros did not have a bad off season either. They added the best relief pitcher in baseball. I am not talking about your posts (at least I remember your posts being an example - but yeah there is a lot of toxicity after 3 games for a team that has been the best in baseball over the last 8-9 years. Anyone making definitive opinions after 27 innings in March doesn’t know or understand baseball.
Still dont understand that mindset that we can just go get a reliever at the deadline if needed....might not be needed if we do t ha e enough middle relief to be in contention. The one area of glaring need has turned a 3-0 start into an 0-3 start.
As long as that definitive opinion is about the 3 games played so far, and only that, then they are valid IMO.
Perhaps going forward, that signing will show merit. But to this point, Hader hasn't helped us. I am inclined to think spending that money on middle relief would have.
How bad does it need to get before we would make a change? I know this is just one series against a good team.
Keep moving the goalposts. You are a joke. You wanted Espada, now you got him. So, if the Astros start winning, make sure you do claim him again.
I do wonder if Espada will have to be told which lineups to play and when, like folks claimed about Dusty lmaoooooo
