learning curves for the team....they really needed this one loss so they can better prepare for GSW...as long as they beat them...all is well..

a lot more chances for a streak next season..

Actually still 2 games over .500
Man, it would be nice to be in the east. We would have an outside shot at avoiding the play in altogether.

Well it was an amazing run but all good things have to come to an end. I'm going to look at this pragmatically - I hate the fact that the Rockets most likely won't get in the playoffs (both the Warriors and Lakers have such easier schedules than we do) but did anyone really think that the Rockets this year would be closing in on 40 wins? That they can finish over .500? And they have been doing this with a key player (at least one sometimes more than one) not being in the lineup whether it has been Sengun, Whitmore, Eason, VanVleet, etc. So I am very happy with how things have gone and like someone else said, too bad we aren't in the east because we would be close to being one of the top 6 seeds. But now that we have a real coach and our young guys are finally developing like they should, we don't need to change a thing for next season. We just need to keep our fingers crossed that we can avoid the injury bug.

I don’t condone violence, unless it’s against Mavs fans. Or Jazz fans. Spurs fans as well.

…and Warriors fans. But only the fair-weather ones

Luka is still just a punk ass kid in a lot of ways. Dude is younger than SGA and already doing this stuff. We are going to be battling against them for a long time if we intend to become a perennial playoff team starting next season. We had better figure out how to deal with him because he's only going to get better over the next few years. Tonight's "strategy" just ain't gonna cut it

Lol imagine Luka actually caring a little more about his body, dude would be ahead of mostly everyone.

Jalen's 0-5 doesn't negate the genuine improvement that he has made with his jump shot and overall game. Nevertheless, he was unable to be dominant because he came under pressure to match Luka and Kyrie ( he is fasting in Ramadan ). Jalen Green still has a long way to go. I believe he can continue to make a lot of progress, if he puts all his energy into basketball in the upcoming off season. Sengun, Jalen and Jabari Smith Jr.
    all need each other.

I saw this and for a split second thought it was how many points Luka scored :( Took me a second to realize it said rebounds on the other side and that guy is too skinny

Warriors and Lakers won tonight, season is essentially over for us.

Warriors just keep pulling games out of their asses as of late, plus they play an easier competition rest of the way on top of the tiebreaker over us.

@WestendMassive i hope you were much better than this. Hopefully you acted as if you were shocked in front of his girlfriend and asked him who she was because he is dating your sister.

So we finally played an above average healthy team that didn't miss their best player and lost.

Jazz a terrible team sat Markkanen and JC in both games
Thunder: SGA was out (50% of the team)
Blazers: Anfernee and Ayton was out
    Wizards: Terrible team.
    Bulls: Lost to Wizards
    Cavs: Mobley was out

This was the luckiest run ever. Like you couldn't even write sth like this even if you tried. We played bunch of very very beatable teams and average above average teams that were missing their key players. Our confidence grew after each win and fooled you into believing that we didnt need our best player and we were a plaoff team without him.

Keep Jalen as only superstar and see what happens next year dear Rockets
When the teams will defend him you will see his real performance

I think Tari is gonna be important in these matchups. He's big enough, strong enough, and athletic enough to at least make Luka do a double take.

We're not a very good TEAM yet, so we play better as a TEAM against teams that aren't so good. It's not as much about individual performances as some of you seem to think.

While we could have played better, not sure how we get past a team that shoots 13/24 from 3.

Most teams lose against that opponent.
