Like i said, you can make up whatever crap you want to trash him, doesn’t make it reality. There’s plenty of trolls on here who do that, don’t be one of them
People are going to be so disappointed when his run turns out to be fake. **** it will hurt a lot of people.
No doubt its all g you have your own perception of this reality And no doubt Harden had his fair share of blunders in PO with his 8 yr body of work, the reality of it But if you go look at his career PO numbers with Rockets and insert any name, anybody in their right mind wouldn't say those numbers sucked And if you want to list the choke job by legends..... Is not making the playoffs or losing in first round multi times (Jordan) considered choking? Shaq/Wade won title then lost next season to like baby Bulls in early round or something similar, is that choking? Dream lost in 86' Finals, did he choke? Our perception may be diff but we are watching the same games right? And you must have been all world league for your team? You played the game on some level where your team depended on you to score/shoot volume right? Did you come through every time or did you suck/choke in those moments?
To all those questions no. It's ok to lose, but don't let it be your fault because you underperformed as well, Harden couldn't control Aldridge cooking us, 45+ points in the first two games, but what did he do that series? Shot like 38% from the field. He under performed in the playoffs many times. TMac never got out of the first round, but he played good in the playoffs, so he didn't get much of the blame, it was either the team (likes of Bob Sura), injuries etc. I hope you get it
And was NBA MVP finalist for like 4 straight yrs Green has the advantage of having Udoka vs McHale But if Green had Mike D as his coach Green numbers would be around 40ppg for this current Harden-esque month Other than that, Harden by default has way more impressive resume than any two year guard who has entered the league since 2018/2019 If you like watching Green play style over Harden, then that's personal free will choice and has nothing to do with comparing their body of work (large vs small size)
So are Harden career playoff numbers overall Good or Bad? Because you just brown nosed the others for playing good, but knocking Harden for shooting 38% in two games Is that all the playoff games Harden played for with Rockets? I Am talking about full body of work with Rockets, not singling out games to pacify your skewed perception of actuality (reality)
Harden was the second best Rocket of all time. He is probably top five offensive player in the history of the NBA. His lack of playoff production is much more about the way the NBA is officiated in the post season than about him choking (even though he did a couple of times). It is(was) patently unfair for the game to be called one way for 82 games and then completely turned on its head in the playoffs. Then you can throw in that he was in the era of Curry and the NBA clearly had an agenda to make sure that GSW was to be crowned. That being said, I did not want Harden back this past summer. It would have been a disastrous contract that put us in the mediocrity world for a decade.
Not as good as in the regular season. Career ppg : 24.7, FG% .442, playoffs : 22.7, FG% .424.. - - (minus/negative)) Kobe Bryant career ppg: 25, FG% .447, playoffs: 25.6, FG% .448. ++ Dirk, Hakeem, KD (his FG% is slightly lower but ppg are up), Bron, Wade etc. You can go down the list, you'll find that most of them were either constant, or better in the playoffs. With Harden that wasn't the case
So you just lumped Harden in a group of some of the best players to ever play and first ballot HOF'ers to discredit Harden? I wasn't comparing his regular season vs. postseason I said look at his playoff stat with Rockets and you posted his stats vs. Kobe, the only difference is Kobe has went to 6 more Finals and won 5, Harden lost his only trip and was only good enough to lead Rockets to WCF...... Only 1 team wins the title each year, so I guess all other 29 teams and their franchise player choked as well Regardless of the stats, the main thing is to win.....and of course to produce Which Harden did, on Kobe level, who most pundits have him on their top 10 GOAT list........are you saying Harden is on same level or close to a top 10ish player of all time??
Bro that applies to most superstars, even Jason Tatum does better in the playoffs vs regular season (numbers wise), n he ain't Kobe nor KD. Harden is a regular season superstar, but in the playoffs he's a star, if even. Get ****ing over it dude, he wasn't built for the playoffs, it is what it is
At one point Harden was a Cheat Code on Offense like literal walking and side stepping cheat code. Strong as Anthony Edwards. Top 2 or Top 3 PG. Should be legitimately taller than Jalen Green as well.
I think you are preaching to yourself, you need to get over him coming up short, you seem so bothered by that......still doesn't reflect his overall numbers I already said he has had his blunders in the playoffs, you call it ''choking'' You lumped him up with some of the best, meaning he was one of the best It would be hard to outdo 36ppg in the playoffs Have you ever played the game on any level and was the main scorer? If Harden had avg like 17-19ppg for postseason career you would hold more weight
Regular season tatum: 58.3% TS, a +6 rating, .153 ws/48 Playoff tatum: 56.9% TS, a +3 rating, .132 ws/48 Tatum also lost to an utter dogshit miami team last year, while going down 3-0 WITH homecourt advantage. How many series did harden lose as a favorite? 1? 2?
The likes of Tatum and Giannis underperforming in the postseason doesn't excuse Harden's shortcomings. We just wanted him to succeed once, and whether by hook or by crook, he didn't.
