I can agree with that but getting to be President or even nominee of one of the major parties isn't an easy process. There were plenty of opportunities to defeat both Biden and Trump. In February of 2020 Biden was trailing in delegates and came in 4th place in NH. In 2015 Trump was considered a joke with no chance of winning and lost the IA caucuses. The fact is that in both parties Biden and Trump are the ones who survived bruising primaries. Both got elected in the general elections and few in either party are willing to challenge them and the challengers were soundly defeated. No offense but wishing that we had better candidates now is like wishing that the Astros won the 2023 world series. We can say that Houston deserved the Stros to not melt down when they had home field advantage but that's what happened. The point is that like the Rangers and the Phillies one of those teams was going to win the WS. Barring something very unusual either Trump or Biden is going to be President in 2025.
