    Dusty would have started Singleton.

Kinda easy to get that many wins when you are gifted Bonds, Balco, Wood, Prior, unpaid Rendon, Scherzer, Strasburg, and the 2019 Astros minus Cole

Lmao. Anytime Dusty would even pinch hit Singleton you would call him an idiot. Nice to see the goalposts have now moved since Espada did the same thing.

Because of injuries. Experimenting. Seem to remember the Astros won the WS at the end of that season.

The Astros season started less than 12 hours ago and the manager should be fired?

I didn’t like the Meyers for Singleton move, felt it was weird but I don’t know what internal information he had.

Sending the runner in the 9th? Whatever - I don’t mind aggression and it works most the time.

Pressly earlier to put out a fire I liked and Scott did come through too. Could have pulled Framber earlier but knew he lacks the arms right now.

Espada will be fine. He won’t let star or veteran players walk all over him - he is squeaky clean off the field, has a positive attitude and does know a lot about baseball.

I love Dusty - should be in the Hall of Fame as an all around contributor to the game, but his players were done with him last year.

I don't remember 23 players on the 40 Kan to force him to lead off Goodrum. Click had to save Dusty from himself.

For sending the runner... when is the last time we actually put up a stop sign? Sending the runner adds pressure on the other team to make mistakes. We had the same philosophy since the Hinch days. Can't beat Forever 21 Juan Soto.

90% of the time, I am in favor of aggression and sending the runner.

I think that spot was specific to only sending the runner if he would score w/o a throw.

The chances of scoring with bases loaded and 1 out w/ Bregman at the plate is much higher than a gamble on a 50/50 throw to the plate.

    Just my opinion.

Last year he was 2-4 w/ a HBP, 6 RBI and 1.850 OPS in 5 PA in that situation.

For his career he has 29 RBI in 31 PAs and 1.024 OPS in that situation.

That was the better chance to tie the game.

It’s one loss in what is likely to be 66 to 70 some odd losses, holy cow this fan base is spoiled and a portion vindictive…..
